PURPOSE:To perform highly sensitive measurement by allowing a biodynamic substance and a buffer solution to coexist in a conductive support formed from conductive fine particles using a water-absorbable resin to integrate an electrode and the biodynamic substance. CONSTITUTION:Conductive fine particles 1 to which gold plating is applied and a powder of a sodium acrylate polymer 3 being a water-absorbable resin are mixed in a desired ratio to fill the upper space of a gold electrode 4. Subsequently, an enzyme solution prepared by dissolving glucose oxidase 2 in a buffer solution is added thereto. The amount of the enzyme solution is adjusted so that water absorbability is held even after addition. A silver/silver chloride electrode 5 is arranged to the outer periphery of the adjusted acting electrode through an insulating substrate 7 and covered with a porous polycarbonate film 8 to exclude the high-molecular compound in a sample. A glucose-containing sample is dripped on this sensor and a constant voltage pulse is applied to the acting electrode with respect to the electrode after a predetermined time and the current value after a short time is set to the response value of the sensor. |
