PURPOSE:To simplify mechanism and to facilitate operation by movably loading a manual insertion guide plate on an inversion tray in the direction of the width of paper, providing a sensor which detects that the manual insertion guide plate is moved to the specified position, and carrying out judgment of the existence of the manual insertion mode based on this detection. CONSTITUTION:The manual insertion guide plates 38 and 39 are movably loaded on the inversion tray 27 in the direction of the width of the paper, a sensor 44 which detects that the manual insertion guide plates 38 and 39 are traveled to the specified position is provided, and judgement of the existence of the manual insertion mode based on this detection is carried out. Therefore, double sided printing and manual insertion printing can be carried out even without making the inversion tray 27 into a folding structure and from the positions of the manual insertion guide plates 38 and 39, whether it has become manual insertion mode or not can be detected automatically. Thus, the mechanism is simplified and the operation is facilitated. |
