A process for making ginseng syrup (I) comprosess (A) washign ginseng leaves and stems, sterilizing with 0.8 ppm CuSO4 and dilute limestone, washing, cooking at 100 deg.C steam to lose water fom the strict plant wall structure and dryign at air, baking at air, baking for easy grinding and for giving taste, grinding, boiling 300 part of ground powder in 200 part of water and concentrating the extract to 20% water content, (B) boiling ginseng roots in 4 vol. of water and concentrating the extract to 20% water content, and (C) mixing 50 part of (A), 100 part of (B), 5 part of honey and 5 part of molasses. (I) of sinseng components has a good taste and proper fluidity in application. And in application of (I), new usage of ginseng leaves and stems is developed rather than of drinking water.
