摘要 PURPOSE:To obtain such a medium that has high recording sensitivity and long life and can be easily formed by forming a base layer comprising such a material containing two kinds of reaction groups, one group to cause crosslink polymn. by radiation or heat and the other group to cause crosslink polymn. with the resin material which constitutes a UV-curing resin layer. CONSTITUTION:The medium consists of a transparent substrate 1, UV-curing resin layer 2, and base layer 3 and recording layer 4 successively deposited on the layer 2. The material for the base layer 3 contains two kinds of reaction groups, one group to cause crosslink polymn. by radiation or heat and the other group to cause crosslink polymn. with the resin material which constitutes the UV-curing resin layer 2. After a stamper is coated with the material for the base layer, crosslinking reaction is effected by radiation or heating to increase insoluble property of the layer, while the reaction group on the surface of the UV-curing resin layer 2 and the reaction group on the surface of the base layer 3 are made to react to crosslink polymn. to improve adhesion property of the UV-curing resin layer. Thus, the obtd. optical recording medium having high recording sensitivity and long life, can be easily obtained.
