PURPOSE:To place an ejected sheet member in page number order by inverting the sheet member by means of an inverting and ejecting mechanism when the sheet member image-processed on its both sides is ejected outside a housing during operation in inversion mode. CONSTITUTION:In the inversion mode, a document R on a document table 20 is carried onto a transparent plate 6 and allowed to be placed at a required position. Then the document R is inverted and recarried onto the transparent plate 6 to be placed at a required position, and then, ejected on a second document receiving tray 30 without being inverted. While, the inverting and ejecting mechanism 32 which inverts and ejects the sheet member S is provided on the ejecting part 16 of an image processor 4. When operating in the inversion mode the sheet member S which is image-processed on its both sides is inverted and ejected outside the housing 8, the sheet member by the inverting and ejecting mechanism 32. Thus, an ejected sheet member is placed in page number order. |
