PURPOSE:To restrain noise due to resonance in the casing of a refrigerator by a method wherein one or both of a partitioning plate and a decorative plate are made of a porous structural body while the structural body is provided with a porous layer, whose specific gravity is changed continuously into the direction of the thickness or the surface thereof, and a fusing layer, fused to one side of the porous layer to integrate the fusing layer with the porous layer. CONSTITUTION:A decorative plate 5 is formed of a porous structural body having a porous layer 5b, whose specific gravity is changed continuously into the direction of the thickness of the layer or the direction of the surface of the same, and an air non-permeable fusing layer 5c, fused to one side of the porous layer and integrated with the same, while a sound absorbing section is formed in an air passage C so that the porous layer is positioned at the side of the air passage C and the fusing layer is constituted so as to be positioned at the side of a storage chamber B. When a fan 6 is driven by a motor 7 to send cold air, cooled by passing a cooler 3, into the air passage C, the cold air flows from respective outlet ports 5a into a storage chamber B to cool the chamber B, then, is returned from a lower passage into the cooler and is circulated in such a manner. In this case, noise, generated from the fan 6, is absorbed into the sound absorbing section 5b. According to this method, the increase of noise due to the resonance of respective chambers may be prevented. |
