<p>PURPOSE:To make it possible to determine whether a subprogram is to be executed or not by referring to discrimination information stored in a discrimination information storage means. CONSTITUTION:A portable electronic device is constituted so that an IC card 1 can be connected to a control part 3 consisting of a CPU, etc., through a card reader.writer 2, and the input/output of data from an external part is executed selectively, and the subprogram to be executed by the control part 3 can be registered in a nonvolatile memory in the IC card 1. Then, the discrimination information storage means to store the discrimination information to discriminate whether that subprogram is registered previously or not at the time of the execution of the subprogram is provided in the IC card 1. Accordingly, it can be discriminated whether the subprogram is registered previously or not. Thus, at the time of the execution of the subprogram, it can be determined whether the subprogram is to be executed or not.</p> |
