PURPOSE:To efficiently and economically resolve ozone and to make it odorless when a large number of copies are consecutively carried out by providing a solvent mist generating means inside a device and controlling the generation of a solvent mist according to the concentration of the detected ozone. CONSTITUTION:An image forming device is provided with a means detecting the concentration of the generated ozone inside the device and a sucking fan 40 as a means which collects the generated ozone, mixes the collected ozone with the mist of the volatile solvent 42, and resolves and then ejects it as well. Moreover, the image forming device is provided with a heater 43 incorporated tank 41 storing the volatile solvent 42 as the solvent mist generating means and a control system which turns on/off the heater 43 according to the concentration of the detected ozone. Therefore, the ozone generated inside the device is collected by the sucking fan 40. While, when the concentration of the ozone reaches the fixed one, the heater 43 of a volatile solvent storing tank 41 is turned on and the solvent mist is generated. It is brought into contact and mixed with the collected ozone, and resolved. Thus, ozone is efficiently and economically resolved and made odorless when a large number of copies are consecutively carried out. |
