The method for inputting commands to a data processing system for changing the display includes the recognition of voices. In one embodiment, the screen is divided into sectors, the memory which supplies data bits to the display being functionally divided in corresponding manner. The operator issues commands for sector identification and for changing purposes. A device for recognising the voice supplies recognised address information and commands to an assembler from which commands are output to the system. In another embodiment, a screen responding to touching or momentary contact in conjunction with spoken commands is used. The device is particularly suitable for preparing material for microform storage and for distributing document contents, data administered in memories, electronic mail and desktop publishing. |
