<p>PURPOSE:To facilitate jamming processing by moving a developing device of the lower most part higher than the position facing a transfer drum when transfer paper jamming in an image formation part is detected. CONSTITUTION:An elevating/lowering means is driven by a control means 20 to travel the developing device 74 in the lower most part of the multiple number of developing devices 71 to 74 placed in the upper direction so that it becomes higher than the position facing the transfer drum 8 when the generation of the transfer paper jamming is detected in the image forming part by the detecting means SW 1 to SW 5. Thus since it does not get in the way when an operator who carries out the jamming processing looks inside the image forming device and carries out procedures of removing a jammed paper, etc., jamming processing can be carried out simply by inserting a hand, etc., in the image forming part.</p> |
