PURPOSE:To prevent the deterioration of a service life of a light emission diode display element by providing an opening on the bottom part of a body case for containing plural light emission diode lamps. CONSTITUTION:As for a light emission diode display element 11, plural LED (light emission diode) lamps 13 are contained in a body case 12 formed like a square cylinder of, for instance, polycarbonate. The body case 12 opens almost the whole surface of its front opening end 12a, and outputs a light emission of the LED lamp 13 from this front opening end 12a. Subsequently, in the bottom part of the body case 12 for forming the bottom in a state that it is attached to a display board body, openings 23a-23c communicating with the opening end 12a are formed. Accordingly, rain water, etc., which permeate in from the opening end for outputting a light emission of the light emission diode lamp into the body case are drained naturally by dead weight from the opening of the bottom part of the body case. In such a way, it is prevented that water collects in the body case, and deterioration of a service life of the light emission diode display element caused by collected water is prevented. |
