摘要

PURPOSE:To stabilize an output wavelength by disposing a pair of photodetector arrays in the positions where the semiconductor laser beams of a prescribed output wavelength is condensed through a thin-film lens. CONSTITUTION:The laser beam from a semiconductor laser 6 passes the inside of a thin-film optical waveguide layer 2 and is condensed by the thin-film lens 3. The laser beam is condensed between a pair of the photodetector arrays and a pair of the photodetector arrays 4a, 4b both detect the photodetector array of the same quantity when the output wavelength of the semiconductor laser 6 is set at the prescribed output wavelength. The optical path of the laser beam shifts to the photodetector array 4a side and the laser beam is detected by the photodetector array 4a when the output wavelength of the semiconductor laser 6 shifts to the short wavelength side. The laser beam is conversely detected by the photodetector array 4b when the laser beam shifts to the long wavelength side. This detection signal is fed back to the semiconductor laser, by which the output wavelength of the semiconductor laser 6 is stabilized.
