PROCESS FOR THE SYNTHESIS OF IRON (III) CHLORIDE

Process for the synthesis of ferric chloride consisting in introducing ferrous chloride at the top of a vertical reactor, introducing chlorine at the bottom of the reactor and introducing a side stream of ferric chloride.
This process allows all the ferrous chloride to be converted by employing the stoichiometric quantity of chlorine.
