PURPOSE:To prevent the damage of a drive means by providing a control means to perform operation of the first drive means side in priority, in a canvass top structure for a vehicle having two drive means which moves a foldable flexible roof member from the front end side to the rear end side or in a reverse direction. CONSTITUTION:An opening formed in the roof part of a vehicle is openably covered with a foldable flexible rood member (hood member). Through running of a first drive motor 13, front slides 10 are pulled through a wire 12, and the roof member is moved from the front end side to the rear end side. Through running of a second drive motor 19, rear sliders 33 are pulled through a wire 18 to move the roof member from the rear end side to the front end side. In so formed canvass top structure, a hold means, not shown, to hold the drive state of the first drive motor 13 through ON-operation of a first control switch to run the first drive motor 13 is provided, and when opening of the rear end side of the opening part is detected, the hold means is rendered inoperative. |
