<p>PURPOSE:To obtain a publication system for a portable memory medium capable of effectively using the real memory area of a publication data file by providing means for writing the publication data read by a reading means in the data memory within a portable memory medium. CONSTITUTION:A publication data file 2a is constituted of an attribute information group 11, a common data group 12 and an indivisual data group 13. The attribute data of all of publication data having to be written in an IC card 5 are stored in the attribute information group 11 so as to be arranged in writing order. An IC card 5 is constituted of a control CPU 51 and a data memory 52 having a publisher's password or publication data stored therein. A host computer 1 uses the attribute information to the publication data in the attribute information group 11 to successively read publication data from the common data group 12 or the individual data group 13 to store the same in the data memory 52. When the writing of the publication data to all of the attribute information in the attribute information group 11 is completed, the IC card 5 is discharged from a read/write apparatus 6. By this system, the real memory area of the publication data file can be effectively used.</p> |
