<p>PURPOSE: To obtain more complete information in the content of an object by mapping signal strength output by a detector at the arbitrary time point of a flying-spot scanner in the fixed area of the object. CONSTITUTION: When the object 40 mapped in the specific area of the object 40 generating a signal generated at any moment by any of transmission detector 50 or back scatter detector 25 by the irradiation of radioactive rays passes a beam source and the detectors, the detector 25 generates a series of analog signals, which are converted into a series of digital values, i.e., pixels.
