PURPOSE:To obtain homogeneity of a weld zone to a base material by electron- beam-welding a joining part between the base materials for rolled plate rolls bent in the shape of a flat roll without using filler material. CONSTITUTION:In the base materials 1, 2 for the rolled plate rolls, metallic plate is made up in the shape of a roll and the joining sides 1a, 2a are formed flat. The groove parts 1b, 2b of this base material are welded by electron beams without using filler material. In this way, the base material and the weld zone become homogeneous and problems caused by the heterogeneity between them are prevented from generation and availability in rolling, etc., a steel plate is improved. |
