A portable cable hoist has a drive motor, a clutch, a transmission and a cable drive pulley. The clutch is designed as a multiple disk clutch and the transmission as a planetary gear train. A drive pinion for the cable drive pulley is connected to the multiple disk clutch and is provided between the planetary gear train and the multiple disk clutch. The cable drive pulley is supported in a cantilevered manner and incorporates a ring gear meshing with the drive pinion. Overall the cable hoist is comparatively light and compact, and it is distinguished by a high tractive force and high cable speeds and an operational ability which is independent of its position. It can function as an elevating mechanism, a puller mechanism, a cable railway drive or a reel drive. |
