<p>PURPOSE:To increase the inertia moment of a golf club and to improve ball bitting ability by providing a spot concentrating load at a part close to the backside as well in addition to parts close to the toe and heel of a head. CONSTITUTION:A head 10 of the golf club is equipped with a face 12, heel 14 and toe 16 and linked through a hosel 20 to a shaft 18. In the head 10, a hollow part 22 is provided and this is covered with a plate 30 and fixed by the face 12, rear face 26 and top 24. In the head 10, for example, a rear cup 36, heel cup 38 and toe cup 40 are formed and a loading material such as bress or lead, etc., is charged to these cups. Then, the spot three-dimensionally concentrating weight is provided. The weight is arranged for the toe and the heel and further, a weight 60 is put into the cup 36 as well. Then, three-dimensional peripheral load is constituted and the inertia moment is enlarged. Then, directivity is more improved.</p> |
