PURPOSE:To allow rapid remeasurement by providing an automatic sipper function which can arbitrarily select a mode to return a measured sample liquid to an original container and a mode to draw the liquid into another container. CONSTITUTION:A nozzle 2 moves to the position above the sample container 3 to be sucked, then descends to the container 3 when the 1st mode is set. A peristaltic pump 4 rotates forward to send the sample liquid to a flow cell 5. The absorbance and transmittance are measured by a spectroscope 6 and a CPU 8. The nozzle 3 descends after the end of the measurement and the pump 4 rotates backwards to return the sample liquid to the same container 3. The nozzle, thereafter, moves to the position of the next container. The nozzle 2 descends into the container 3 in the same manner as mentioned above and takes the sample liquid when the 2nd mode is set. This liquid is sent to a flow cell 5 and is measured. The nozzle 2 rises after the end of the measurement and moves to the position above a cup 10 to be exclusively used for returning; thereafter, the nozzle descends to return the sample liquid. |
