<p>PURPOSE:To greatly enhance the correction capacity to the teeth by providing the fitting part formed in a protruding or depressed state to a cap on the back side thereof so as to be fitted in a bracket in the surface direction thereof to transmit the force applied to the cap to the bracket. CONSTITUTION:As the fitting part fitted in the bracket 2 in the surface direction thereof in order to transmit the force applied to a cap 6 to the bracket 2, a protruding part 9 is provided to the central part of the cap 6 on the back side thereof. Therefore, a depressed part 10 is also provided to the bracket 2 so as to be fitted with the protruding part 9 of the cap 6. In using the cap, the base 1 of the bracket 2 is fixed to the surface of the teeth by an adhesive and, subsequently, a wire 13 is held to a slot 3 in common with the bracket of the adjacent teeth to be tightly fastened thereto and the protruding part 9 to be fitted in the bracket of the cap 6 is pushed in the depressed part 10 of the bracket 2 and both end parts of the cap 6 are caulked to engage a ridge part 7 with the groove part 5 of the bracket 2.</p> |
