PRODUCTION OF BUCKSKIN-LIKE MOLDING

摘要

PURPOSE:To obtain the title molding of which only a desired part has a buckskin-like texture by forming a skin from a specified starting material by slush molding and treating the surface of the obtained skin or of a desired part of a molding to which the skin is stuck with a specified solvent. CONSTITUTION:A skin is formed from a mix prepared by mixing PVC to which a blowing agent (e.g. azodicarbonamide) is added with a polyurethane or a vinyl chloride/polyurethane copolymer material to which a blowing agent is added by slush molding, and the surface of the molded skin or that part of a molding to which the skin is stuck and for which a buckskin-like texture is desired is treated with a solvent which dissolves PVC but does not dissolve a polyurethane (e.g. ethyl acetate).
