PURPOSE:To prevent adhesion of dust and corrosion of a window by providing a first flat air emitting orifice at the outlet of the cylinder provided at the incident part of a radiation measuring device and also providing a second air emitting orifice emitting a small amount of air on the inside of the first air emitting orifice. CONSTITUTION:A radiation source 1 is arranged on one side of a work 4 and a radiation measuring device 2 is provided on the other side of the work 4 and a disc shaped window 3 made of aluminum is mounted on the measuring device 2 on the side of the work 4. A cylinder 5 is mounted on the window 3 on the side of the work 4 and an air emitting pipe 6A having a small diameter is connected to the side surface of the cylinder 5 in the vicinity of the window 3 and an air emitting pipe 6B having a large diameter is connected thereto in the vicinity of the work 4 so that the emitting part thereof is slightly inclined toward the work 4 and the connection part of the emitting pipe 6B and the cylinder 5 is made flat. In this constitution, an air curtain is provided on the inlet side of the cylinder 5 and the inner pressure of this air curtain is lowered to prevent adhesion of dust to the window 3 of the measuring device 2 and corrosion of the window 3, and the lowering of measuring accuracy is prevented and the operating efficiency of a manufacturing line can be enhanced.
