Improved apparatus for orientation and guidance of machines, especially civil engineering machines, of the type comprising: - a bottom place (21) for adjustment of horizontality; - at least one laser source (25), associated with a first rotating reflecting member (38), - a housing (1), containing the bottom plate (21) and the laser source (25); - at least one receiver, able to pick up part of the laser plane so defined, solidly fixed or otherwise to the machine, characterised in that the laser beam coming from the source (25) is split into two components in perpendicular directions, one of which is reflected at a second rotating reflecting member (30) so as to define the vertical plane centred on the vertical axis of the housing, and the other of which is reflected in a direction lying in the plane thus defined, and which passes through a set of prisms (33, 34, 35) whose optical and geometrical characteristics are able to be modified, before striking the said first rotating reflecting member (38), this so as to define the sub-horizontal working plane of the machines. <IMAGE> |
