发明名称 HIGH FREQUENCY TEMPERING METHOD
摘要 <p>PURPOSE:To uniformize heating of a work and to eliminate variation of the surface hardness thereof by relatively shaking a heating coil and the work while keeping interval between both to constant at the time of induction-heating the work by using the heating coil. CONSTITUTION:At first, the relative position between the work 1 and the heating coil 2 is made to unchangeable and after induction-heating the work 1 to the quenching temp. (about 850-950 deg.C), immediately quenching liquid is injected to rapidly cool the work. When the quenching operation is completed, while maintaining the interval between the work 1 and the heating coil 2 to constant, by working the shaking mechanism, the work 1 is shaken in the range of the broken line and successively, while maintaining this shaking, high frequency current is supplied to the heating coil 2 from a high frequency generator 3 and the work 1 is induction-heated to the tempering temp. (about 200-240 deg.C) to execute the tempering. By this method, the work 1 is uniformly heated and the development of variation in the surface hardness is prevented.</p>
