摘要 The probe to take a sample of molten metal from moving baths has a number of air escape openings (11) at the mould hollow zone (4), entry channel (7) and at the ante chambe (8). The air escape openingsa (11) at least at the mould hollow zone (4) are extended by 0.05-0.5 mm and are deployed in the entry channel (7) between the ante chamber (8) and the meltable closure (10). The air escape openings (11) are slits of 0.05-0.3 mm with a widtha of 0.05-0.2 mm. The ante chamber (8) is in the path of the entry channel (7) to give at least one flow deflection, with air escape openings opposite the entry channel (7). The air openings (11) for the ante chamber (8) are in a chamfered covering surface of a cuboid insert fitted into a matching recess in the ante chamber (8), with the covering surface rising to the body (1) defining the hollow zone. A sieve (9) in the entry channel (7) bewteen the ante chamber (8) and the hollow mould zone (4) to increase the flow time of the molten metal. ADVANTAGE - The system provides bubble-free samples from depths over 40 cm in a molten bath for a blast converter, with high sample volumes or high bath temps. without difficulties for automatic spectrum analysis.
