The blade unit (9), comprising two parallel supports (7) for the blades (8), is urged by a helical spring (10) against the inner face of the foil (11). The unit (9) is fitted to a carrier (4) consisting of two parallel yokes (3) coupled to the drive lever (2). The supports (7) are carried centrally on a pedestal (18) and at their ends on paired arms (5,6) joined together by crosspieces (22) with slots (23) allowing limited vertical movement in the same direction or opposite directions. ADVANTAGE - Relatively light wt. blade unit carrier guarantees max. rigidity of each blade support independtly coupled to foil.
