A method for stacking semifinished cylindrical metal products includes transferring the semifinished products from a sawing station (3) to a transporting vehicle (12), and stacking the semifinished products on the vehicle. During the transfer of said products, a drive takes them to at least one storage site (4) located above the stack which is to be formed, and each product is lowered from the site down to the vehicle so that it is placed directly in its correct position in the stack. |
