<p>PURPOSE:To stabilize the attitude of a vehicle body in an early stage by avoiding the addition of a signal corresponding to the output of a stroke detection means to a wheel oblique to a wheel which exceeds a predetermined value in case that the output of the stroke detection means exceeds the predetermined value. CONSTITUTION:Suspension units 13FL-12RR provided for each wheel have hydraulic actuators 14 provided between a vehicle body and the wheel and pressurized oil from a hydraulic supply source is supplied to or discharged from the hydraulic chamber thereof via control valves 16 (16FL-16RR). The control valves 16 are controlled by a controller 33 to which the detected signals, etc. of a lateral G sensor 24, a longitudinal G sensor 25 and a vehicle height sensor 22 (22FL-22RR) are input.
