PURPOSE:To stably form an image small in fog and high in quality independent of change of humidity by incorporating zinc oxide particles surface-treated with a specified amount of carboxylic acid or its anhydride as a photoconductor. CONSTITUTION:The toner contains as the photoconductor the zinc oxide particles surface-treated with the carboxylic acid or its anhydride in an amount of 0.0001-0.05 wt.% of zinc oxide, thus permitting the obtained photosensitive toner to be enhanced in dispersibility into the binder resin of the zinc oxide particles, accordingly, reduced in fog, and to stably form high-quality images independent of changes of humidity. |
