Electronic divider circuit with additional shift register(s) - storing dividends or remainders and with results delivered in S211 code

An electronic divider circuit forms the quotient by subtraction and contains no parallel subtraction circuit. One or two additional shift registers store the dividend or residual dividend which can be fed into the circuit (4) as easily as from the main shaft register (2). A single additional shift register (3) can be used with a feedback circuit contg. a gate circuit (11). The two or three shift registers are subject to simultaneous clock control. ADVANTAGE - Uses additional shift register to eliminate need for error correction technique such as reconstitution method.
