The control arrangement is for a displacement pump, esp. a vane cell pump. It embodies a throttle system consisting of a piston (22) adjustable against the force of a spring (21). The piston has a controllable opening (24) the cross-section of which can be narrowed to vary the flow from the pressure chamber (7) to the outlet (18) as the rotational speed of the pump increases. USE/ADVANTAGE - Reliable and simple pump control system which allows the maintenance of an horizontal or falling delivery curve, as required.
