The switch mounting panel which is attached to a cavity wall is attached by a hinge so that it can be swung away from the wall through an angle of 180 deg. and lie on top of an adjacent switch mounting panel. The switch mounting panel (12.1) is attached to the wall (16) by screws (18) which screw into bushes (19) embedded in the wall (16). These screws (18) have round heads (17) and pass through a sealing ring (21) fitted in the switch mounting panel (12.1).
