摘要 In conversion of hydrocarbons or recovery of aromatic hydrocarbons in presence of a catalyst through which a feed contg. hydrocarbons and H2 circulates, in reaction zones connected in series, and which forms a flowing bed, the feed passes successively through the zones and the catalyst passes downwards through the zones, is removed from the bottom of each zone except the last and is fed in a current of H2 to the head of the next zone, is removed continuously from the bottom of the last zone and is fed to a regeneration zone. The exhausted catalyst removed from the last zone is freed from H2, and is fed into an inert gas, in which it is led into a regeneration zone by means of 2 transporters; the 1st transporter feeds the catalyst from the reaction zone into a container at a higher level, from which the catalyst passes continuously through a downward pipe into a lower container; the 2nd transporter feeds the catalyst from the lower container into a supply vessel in the upper part of the reaction zone. USE/ADVANTAGE - Process is esp. the hydro-reforming of hydrocarbons, e.g. a naphtha boiling at 60-220 deg.C, or the prodn. of aromatic hydrocarbons, esp. benzene, toluene and xylene. Method gives improved equilibrium between the catalyst circulation by means of blow-off valves, above the regenerator and the intermediate container, and avoids blockage by catalyst particles.
