PURPOSE: To automatically adjust a distribution of a wall thickness by engaging a motor drivable screwing tool with a centering screw, and controlling a screwing degree of the centering screw based on a measured value of the thickness of an extruded tube. CONSTITUTION: A centering member 15 having a plurality of centering screws 17 engaged at its periphery is mounted at a support ring 23. A gear ring 25 engaged with a pinion 27 rotatable by a motor 31 is rotatably supported. A screwing tool 37 is sequentially engaged with individual screws 17 by a rotation of the ring 25 and an operation of an axial spindle 39. A thickness measuring unit 45 is disposed at an end of a specifying sleeve 41 where the tube 3 travels, and a measured value of the third thickness is sent to a computer 61. When unevenness of the thickness exceeds an allowable limit, the tool 39 is engaged with the screws 17 by the motor 31 and the spindle 39 based on a signal from a controller 63. Simultaneously, the motor 35 is driven, the screws 17 are loosened, twisted, and the nozzle 1 is radially adjusted. |
