PURPOSE:To connect a heating resistor with integrated circuits without damaging the density of mounting of the integrated circuits by arranging the integrated circuits on one side of the heating resistor in such a manner that adjacent circuits are not positioned on the same line in the direction of arrangement of the heating resistor. CONSTITUTION:The integrated circuits 11 and 21 are integrated circuits wherein shift resistors, latch resistors and driving elements are arranged and the integrated circuit 11 in odd numbers is arranged in the lower part on a substrate 1 in the figure, while the integrated circuit 21 in even numbers is arranged in the upper part thereon in the figure. That is, the integrated circuits 11 and 21 in odd and even numbers are arranged respectively on different lines in the direction of arrangement of the heating resistor. Driving output terminals 12 and 22 are provided on the integrated circuits 11 and 21 and connected to bonding pads 14 and 24 by wires 13 and 23, respectively, while wirings 15 and 25 leading to the heating resistor are connected to the pads 14 and 24, respectively. The wirings 15 and 25 overlap partially with each other on the way and, therefore, an insulating layer 2 is laid intermediately between them. |
