PURPOSE:To measure the flow rate of liquid continuously and accurately by discharging the liquid of the same volume supplied to one of two metering tanks from the other tank. CONSTITUTION:While the liquid fed from the outside is supplied to a tank A by opening a selector valve A, the discharging from a tank B through a discharge valve B and a variable pump 11 by the supplied volume is continued. The valve A is closed by the upper limit signal of the tank A, and the full weight of the tank A is measured with a load cell A. Upon completion of the measurement, a discharge valve B is closed; at the same time, the valve A is opened to start discharging from the tank A. Next, the empty weight of the tank B is measured with a load cell B, and upon completion of the measurement, the valve B is opened to supply the liquid from the outside into the tank B. The valve B is closed by the upper limit signal of the tank B, and the full weight of the tank B is measurd. By repeating this cycle, the flow rate of the liquid is measured continuously and accurately. |
