<p>PURPOSE:To stack sheets certainly in place even though they are as thick as card or as thin as a transcript slip by pinching sheet loosely between a belt and a tab, and transporting until colliding with a stopper. CONSTITUTION:Each sheet of paper exhausted from a continuous paper cutter for computer or a high speed microfilm photographing device 2 is pinched at its leading edge, at least, loosely between a belt 1 and a tab 2 and transported. When this sheet runs against a stopper 14, the pinching condition by the tab 2 is released, and the sheet stops there. The following sheets exhausted are pinched by the next tab 2 and transported, so that they will never intrude under the precedent sheet. After the precedent sheet runs against the stopper 14 to cause releasing from the pinching condition with the tab, the belt running position is moved in the direction which is perpendicular to the running direction and parallel to the surface of the sheet, and thereby the following sheet is transported upon being shifted to this position, so that it will be placed on another stack differently positioned from the precedent sheet.</p> |
