PURPOSE:To obtain a test printing system having higher printing speeds by a construction wherein when fitted type belts do not include a character corresponding to a code of test printing data, a printing dta generating counter is updated immediately without collating. CONSTITUTION:In response to a control signal from a control 13, data contents stored in type code ROM's 2-1-2-N provided corresponding to type belts 1-1- 1-N are loaded inot an accumulator 7 via an arithmetic unit 6. A check memory 11 is provided which serves to form invalid data using codes of the loaded data contents as addresses. In accordance with the loaded content a flag is written, flag is used to judge whether there is a need of collating or not. By so doing, it becomes possible to eliminate a need of providing an invalid data ROM corresponding to the kind of belt. |
