PURPOSE:To effectively control charging of an electronic equipment so as to enhance reliability by detecting the number of connection made so as to be stored while being accumulated in a memory means every time when the connector of a charging device is connected with a battery pack, and thereby displaying the aforesaid number. CONSTITUTION:When a charging connector 8 connected to a charging device is connected to the connector 7 of a battery pack, a battery is charged. In this case, the number of connection made between both of the connectors 7 and 8 is detected by a counter switch 6, data for the number of charging is recorded in a memory display section 4 while being accumulated so that an indication is provided. Furthermore, the data for the number of charging is transferred to the control section of an electronic equipment in which a battery pack is packaged, via an output section 5. The control section controls charging the battery pack based on data for the accumulated number of charging. By this constitution, the reliability of the electronic equipment in which the battery pack is packaged, can thereby be enhanced. |
