PURPOSE:To improve strength at welded position by forming an intermediate layer for restraining vaporization of zinc between galvanized steel plates or position between this and the other metal, irradiating it with laser beam and executing welding. CONSTITUTION:The galvanized steel plates 1, 4 or the galvanized steel plate and the other metal, are welded with the laser beam 8. Then, the intermediate layer 7 for restraining the vaporization of zinc is formed between the galvanized steel plates 1, 4 or the galvanized steel plate and the other metal. The laser beam 8 is radiated to the galvanized steel plates 1, 4 or the other metal to execute the laser beam welding. The intermediate layer is formed of carbon graphite or carbon series surface absorbent. By this method, the development of porosity is restrained and the width of bead can be made to constant. |
