<p>A coating/homogenising cylinder, especially has an inner water absorbing layer (2) and a series of short radial tubes (3) of substantial diameter which are set in annular and lengthwise lines and pass through an inclined partition (5), forming a collector of varying height. The system of radial pipes provides for a constant level of water absorption along the length of the cylinder and makes for a more homogenous material.</p> |
