PURPOSE: To ensure the safety by providing a transparent cover at a power source, a base for connecting load to be metered, a recorder and an intermediate electronic circuit. CONSTITUTION: A recorder 10 is disposed at the other end of a watthour meter 2, and electronic constituents 18, 20 are supported by an intermediate electronic voltage assembly 14. A transparent cover 38 surrounds the constituents of the meter 2 and surrounds the assembly 14 together with a base 4. The cover 38 is generally formed of glass or transparent polycarbonate. To set the temperature in the cover 38 to the lowest and to isolate the member cooperated with the constituents 18, 20 and recorder 10 from electromagnetic disturbance, a shield 44 for shielding the disturbance and heat is disposed at the periphery of the constituents of the meter 2 and in the cover 38. |
