<p>PURPOSE: To improve durability, while maintaining sound characteristics and comfortableness by providing a thin flexible front cuticle having a circumferential groove, a flexible ring and a flexible rear cuticle and inserting a gel between the flexible ring and a form ring in the space of the cuticles. CONSTITUTION: This cushion consists of a thin flexible front cuticle 11 having a groove 16 at a peripheral part, a thin flexible ring 15 which is fitted in the groove 16 of the cuticle 11, a form ring 13 which is fitted to a rear cuticle 11 and a gel 12. The front and rear cuticles 11 position the thin flexible ring 15 and the foam ring 13 in a space of those cuticles 11 and are sealed, except for a gap filled with the gel 12 between the cuticles 11. Then the cushion is fitted to a headset. Consequently the groove 16 is over held for reducing an unpleasant feeling, when ears come into contact with the seals inside the cushion. The cushion can easily be replaced, when it becomes defective.</p> |
