PURPOSE:To enable the labor saving of the roll changing work by making the subject device into structure that the tip of rod of a hydraulic cylinder with which an upper roll is drawn down is engaged in freely engagedly and disengagedly with roll chocks by moving the roll horizontally. CONSTITUTION:In the case the upper roll 2 is removed, a lower rod 46 is moved to the uppermost position by acting a cylinder 4. Tracks 8 are moved in a prescribed position by rocking handles 7 and the upper wheel set 2b of upper chocks 2a are brought into contact with the tracks 8 by lowering the cylinder 4. When the upper roll 2 is applied with a force in the longitudinal direction, a locking part 5 on he tip of lower rod 46 is disengaged from the engaging groove 6 of the upper chocks 2a and is moved on the tracks 8 and the upper roll 2 can be easily removed from a stand 1a. In the case of mounting, it can be performed with the reverse process of removing case. The labor saving of roll changing work and the improvement of working rate following to the improvement of working efficiency can be done. |
