<p>PURPOSE:To reduce the error of measured length by measuring the actual moving amount of the sheet material per one pulse of the pulse generater and obtaining the correcting coefficient against the measured length value on the correcting of the measured length value in the case of the sheet width control while measuring. CONSTITUTION:The actually moved amount of the sheet material per one pulse of the pulse generater is preliminally measured for each sheet material of the same material quality, the dimention and the width changing amount,the ratio of this actually moved amount against the roll diameter of the vertical roll and the sheet material moving amount per one pulse per one rotation of the roll is obtained as the correcting coefficient. The result of measured length for the sheet material 1 under the sheet width control is continuously corrected with this correcting coefficient. In such a way, the measuring error can be minimized.</p> |
