PURPOSE:To increase a response speed and to miniaturize the element as well as to facilitate the handling thereof by coating the surfacer of a metallic electrode with an adequate org. film contg. antimony oxide, thereby forming the element. CONSTITUTION:The antimony oxide is used as the ion sensitive material of the element 1 for measuring a hydrogen ion concn. and the org. film contg. the antimony oxide is used. The antimony oxide is fixed into the adequate org. material so that the film can be utilized as the film for measuring the hydrogen ion concn. Namely, the electrode fixed with the antimony oxide with the suitable org. matter is formed on the surface of the metallic electrode and the voltage between this electrode and an adequate reference electrode 2 is measured, by which the hydrogen ion concn. in the soln. to be measured is determined. The continuous measurement in the state of keeping the element immersed in the soln. to be measured is possible in this way. |
