The invention relates to a filter for the partial and at least temporary interruption of a vein. This filter comprises a channel (2) of polytetrafluoroethylene having, towards its distal end, longitudinal cuts distributed symmetrically on its periphery and delimiting flexible bands (6), and a conduit (3) of polytetrafluoroethylene inside the channel (2); the conduit (3) and the channel are made integral, for example by hot-welding, via their distal ends (2a, 3a). Preferably a ring (4) of a radio-opaque material is included between the distal ends (2a, 3a) during the hot-welding. The flexible bands spread out transversely by means of the conduit (3) sliding in the channel (2). They have undergone a thermal-fixing treatment, memorising in the polymeric structure of the tetrafluoroethylene the spread-out shape and/or a helical shape. <IMAGE> |
