TITLE OF THE INVENTION; NOVEL AZOLE DERIVATIVE The present invention discloses an azole derivative of the formula (I): (I) wherein A is a nitrogen atom or a CH group and R represents a 3-chlorophenyl group, a 2-chlorophenyl group, a 4-bromophenyl group, a 2,4-difluorophenyl group, a 2,6-difluorophenyl group, a 3,4-difluorophenyl group, a 2-fluoro-4-chlorophenyl group or a formula (II): wherein X is an alkyl group, a haloalkyl group, a phenyl group, a cyano group, a nitro group or a halogen atom, X can be the same or different atom or group and n is an integer of 1 to 5, provided that when X is a halogen atom n is an integer 3 to 5. The azole derivative is useful as an active ingredient of an agricultural and horticultural fungicide, a plant growth regulant and a herbicide.
