<p>PURPOSE:To provide a microwave oven cooking bag also serving to preserve food which has excellent heat insulation and in which there is no odor transfer to food and no adsorption of food odor components to a film by forming the bag with a specific polybutylene terephthalate resin film. CONSTITUTION:A microwave range cooking bag comprises a polybutylene terephthalate resin film of relative crystallinity of 10 % or higher as measured by X-ray diffraction in the atmosphere of 23 deg.C and 50 % RH and under a diffraction angle 2theta=5-45. A film satisfying the above conditions, particularly an inflation film has excellent heat insulation and further has properties of a barrier against gases, of keeping odor, and of sealing heat, and hence is preferable. In the case of the relative crystallinity of 10 % or lower there is formed much blocking upon formation of the film to make difficult the film formation itself, and to result in deteriorated heat insulation. A film prepared by an inflation formation process using polybutylene terephthalate resin has high tensile strength and excellent in a barrier property against gases and is manufactured inexpensively.</p> |
